when we were kids we couldn't afford to see the Christmas Show
at Radio City, this didn't prevent us from walking by the
theatre on the way to see the Christmas tree to Rockeffeler Center.
true to it's depression era mandate, Radio City has an animatronics
show on top of its marquee which runs every hour. it includes
Santa Claus, Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer, the Wooden Soldier,
and every Christmas motif imaginable, all moving and dancing to music
and pyrotechnics.
and most importantly, free for all to enjoy.
as an adult we took our daughters many times,
for the Christmas Show with the Rockettes
(its a real treat for the kids).
