Nu D'Lux | Hudson River Park: "Whether you’ve been dancing for years or want to learn how to boogie like a pro, Hudson River Park’s MoonDance is your chance to strut your stuff under the stars! MoonDance takes place on Sunday evenings at Hudson River Park‘s Pier 84. Featured styles include swing, tango and salsa.
From the Nu D'Lux website: "Nu D'Lux struck their first chords in Brooklyn, NY in 1995, long before Buena Vista Social Club and the current influx of Son Montuno groups hit Manhattan. From the start, a tremendous love and respect for the great Septetos and Conjuntos of El Son (Cuban predecessor of Salsa) brought current co-leaders Aaron Halva and Jainardo Batista-Sterling together in a great search for their own flavor of this music that continues today."
Free dance lessons begin at 6:30pm courtesy of DANCE MANHATTAN. Nu D'Lux goes on at 7pm!"
