Miles Davis was honored by the New York City Landmarks Preservation Center with an official Medallion ceremony taking place at 312 West 77th Street, the address of the brownstone townhouse purchased by Davis in 1958. The Upper West Side location served as both home and working environment for the artist for 25 years.
